From my Valentine, years past.

Another Valentine’s Day apart…..
It’s enough to make your heart
Feel it’s just too much,
Too little touch,
So much else to do
Instead of holding on to you.

We hope, we strive,
To keep our love alive
In a world that make demands
And keeps our hands
Busy with all the trivial things
That each long day brings.

I pledge to you
To keep our love as new
And fresh as when
My soul found joy again–
Your heart reached out and found me
waiting for the life-love that has come to be.
